When we first walked into the hotel, the rooms smelled very nice, and they were great, large, and comfortable. However, there was a waft of stale cigarettes lingering, and we found some trash behind one of the beds. The service had familiar faces and helpful staff, but the check-in was rude, and the free continental breakfast was disappointing. The location was fantastic for hiking and canoeing, being near a canoe rental and across from a Walmart. The dining experience was quite limited, and we expected more for the price of the room. Overall, it's a mixed bag with some nice features but room for improvement.

The service was extremely polite and helpful, despite a hiccup with my tax exempt voucher. The location was clean, not overpowering with chlorine, and easily accessible, with the added convenience of being close to the interstate for hiking trails.
